The Delaroderie discussion forum was retired around this time, for two reasons: Russian hackers had corrupted it, and it was rarely used anyway.

Bucky’s ashes spread at the Grand Canyon
Rad rode to the North Rim and honoured his father’s request, almost three years after Bucky’s death, on a trip that also took in a Baton Rouge High School reunion and a long way home on back roads.

Penny and her miracle puppies
A starving, mange-ridden mastiff wandered into Rad’s life on 13 February and began a story that got written up and filmed at the time. Both files have since gone missing from the server — see the contribute page if you have a copy.

The genealogy arrived
Bucky and Patsy Delaroderie assembled records on the earliest known Delaroderie, Alphonse — great-grandfather to Rodolph A. Delaroderie, Sr. Patsy did the bulk of the work. A preliminary male namesake bloodline went up, and became the lineage chart.

The original hand-built site was rewritten in NetObjects Fusion, and personal news pages were offered to anyone who wanted one.
