Every photograph, date, and account on this site arrived because somebody took the trouble to pass it along. There is no other source. If you have something, it belongs here.
Most useful right now
- Original photographs. The images here were shrunk for dial-up in 2004 and cannot be enlarged. Original prints or full-resolution scans would transform the photographs page.
- Answers to the three open genealogy questions. Set out at the foot of the lineage chart — where Aldrich Gabriel, Smokey, and Lawrence Emile actually belong.
- The women and the daughters. The current chart follows namesake males only. Marriages, maiden names, birth and death dates for everyone else would let a full family tree be built.
- Your own page. A few paragraphs about your life, in your own words, plus a photograph. The people who did this twenty years ago left the most valuable material on the site.
- News. Births, marriages, moves, accomplishments — anything that belongs on the timeline.
- Two missing files. The 2005 write-up and video about Penny and her puppies, and a 2005 photograph of Bucky. Both were linked from the old site and are gone from the server.
On privacy
The old site published a contact list with home phone numbers and email addresses on a page anyone could read. That list is not reproduced here. If the family wants a shared directory again, the right way is a private one that isn’t reachable by search engines — ask about it.
Photographs and accounts of living people go up only with their say-so. If anything here concerns you and you would rather it came down, say so and it comes down.
