I, John Michael Delaroderie, was born on May 23, 1955, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  I am the “baby” of the Delaroderie clan.

I graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baton Rouge in 1973.  The next year, I joined the USAF and married my “high school sweetheart”, Suzanne Crais, the same year.  My one and only child, Angela Marie Delaroderie, was born in 1975 in Merced, California.

While in the USAF, I received training in electronics and made electronics repair my life-long career in several different organizations.

I was divorced in 1992 and have never remarried.

I was forced to retire from the work force in 2001 due to medical reasons, and I had been residing with my sister, Leslie, in Creole, Louisiana.

In early summer 2004, I moved closer to my daughter Angela in Albany, Louisiana.

On February 15th, 2005, at the age of 49, John Michael Delaroderie died of causes related to his inoperable cancer. He was an articulate, colorful man with a good heart, and he had a great sense of humor and optimism.

He will go on spiritually in the hearts of his family and friends, and his legacy will continue in his daughter Angela, and his grandson Andon Michael Brabham.
